Well its a been a good start to the season for all senior teams
League - after the first 3 rounds we have secured 3 wins - a good start but note that we have played teams in the bottom half of the draw and now face the reality of playing against the top teams. The pleasing aspect has been our depth which has seen 7-8 goalscrorers each match and our Defence holding strong. It will be an interesting next 4 rounds.
Reserves - have started well with 2 wins from 3 - the loss to WT disappointing but this weeks win against North Adelaide showed the benefit of the reserves training together. Good form from the young guys Kris Nicola & Simon Blight has been a positive
Womens - the ladies have started with a draw against Glenelg and a good win against West Torrens 9 - 2. With New coach Nat guiding the team and good numbers once again the ladies will look to play finals again this year.
Juniors in 2008

The time is upon us again when the junior grades are about to take the field. So far in 2008 we have numbers to field an under 13 boys and girls team and an under 18 boys team. However we are in search of more players to add to these teams and hopefully add and under 11 boys and girls team. womens B Grade starts May 3rd

This coming Saturday May 3rd is round 1 for the Women's B grade team. Round 1 will see us come up against Glenelg who we played against last season for a spot in the grand final. The match will be held at Park 25 at 1:15pm. Could all players be there ready to warm up by 12:30pm at the latest. Hope to see you all out there.

Following Saturday's trial match against North Adelaide ETP has now selected its League Squad for training as from Tuesday April15th @6.30pm
The League Squad is
Goals : Tom Vickery
Defence : Scott Vickery, Randall Pearce, Nick Brown, Scott Dawkins
Face Off : Matt Brown
Midfield : Glenn Steele, Tyler Baruch, Jeff Eckenhoff, Scott Petersen, Brett Langstreth, Chris Kirton, Alex Rupple, Simon Gill
Attack : Scott Gill, Trevor Poland, Kristian Den Otter
The Squad also contains the following options : Defence : Brett Langstreth - Attack : Glenn Steele, Jeff Eckenhoff - Face Off : Trevor Poland, Brett Langstreth,Glenn Steele.
We would also mention the efforts of others outside of this squad who have participated regularly in pre season training Kris Nicola, Simon Blight, Cameron Semmler, Chad Lindner, Adam Marafioti & Tim Ross etc. whilst many others have trained intermittently.
As with any squad changes will be made where injury or outstanding form from external squad members warrants changes.

Junior Lightning Carnival - this Monday!

Just a reminder that this year's Junior Lightning Carnival will be held tomorrow from 9am to around 3pm. This is one of our most important days of the year for ETPLC, as it gives us the best opportunity to recruit new players, so we need as many club members to help out on the day.
All helpers are asked to be at the club by 8.30am. If you are able to help out on the day, even just for a couple of hours, please get in touch with Lee Vickery for more information.
