𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗘
In 2024, four Australian lacrosse clubs will be marking their 125th anniversaries. In recognition of a combined 500 years of lacrosse, these four clubs will come together for one weekend in Adelaide to compete in "The 500" Lacrosse Tournament.

All formed in 1899, three South Australian clubs - 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗺, 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁 and 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 - will be joined by the 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 Lacrosse Club who will make the journey over from Western Australia for a once-in-a-generation opportunity to celebrate a shared milestone.

"The 500" will be hosted by the Sturt Lacrosse Club (Women's Memorial Playing Fields, Shepherds Hill Road, St Marys, SA) on the weekend of 12-14 April, 2024. In addition to the tournament (senior men's and women's events), we are planning to hold a dinner on the Saturday evening (13 April).

Please block these dates off in your calendar now, to ensure you don't miss out on these celebrations. It is remarkable for our sport that there are four clubs who were formed in the same year and continue to exist to this day, so we should celebrate this in style.
